This two-piece shaft collar is designed for high-performance applications, featuring a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications and tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity for precise load bearing and mechanical stop functionality. Its clamp-style design eliminates shaft marring and provides superior holding power compared to set screw collars. Made from 316 stainless steel, it offers consistent corrosion resistance and can be used in a variety of applications, including mechanical engineering, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing. Its precision design and adjustable fit make it ideal for component alignment and precision assembly.
Top product features:
The collar does not mar the shaft.
The collar is infinitely adjustable.
The collar has superior holding power when compared to set screw collars.
Top product applications:
Shaft collars are used as a load bearing face in high RPM applications.
Shaft collars are used as a mechanical stop in precision machinery.
Shaft collars are used for component alignment in precision manufacturing.
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 0.5000" bore, 1 1/8" OD, and 0.406" width. It has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.002") which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 316 stainless steel to a fine burr-free finish with hardware of like material for consistent corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond ANSI standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
