Ruland's two-piece keyed shaft collar offers superior holding power and precise fit, making it ideal for applications where positive drive and load-bearing capabilities are crucial. Its infinitely adjustable design ensures a secure fit on keyed shafting, while the fine burr-free finish and proprietary black oxide formulation enhance corrosion resistance and holding power. Suitable for use in mechanical stops, component alignment, and load-bearing applications, this collar is manufactured from lead-free steel and meets or exceeds ANSI standards for maximum holding power. Its compact design allows for in-place installation and servicing, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
Top product features:
Infinitely adjustable
Does not mar the shaft
Has superior holding power compared to set screw collars
Top product applications:
Keyed Shaft Collar, 2pc Clamp, Bore 1.8125in, Steel, W 0.688in from RULAND is suitable for use as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment due to its tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity.
This product is ideal for use in applications where the collar may be used for positive drive, such as in gearboxes, motors, and other power transmission equipment.
The two-piece keyed shaft collar can be used to secure components in place without the need to remove adjacent components, making it suitable for use in applications where space is limited or where maintenance is difficult.
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece keyed shaft collar has a 1.8125" bore, 1/2" keyway, 2 7/8" OD, and 0.688" width. It is designed for use with keyed shafting and in applications where the collar may be used for positive drive. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.002") which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by one groove on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 1215 lead-free steel to a fine burr-free finish with Ruland's proprietary black oxide formulation which creates a fine glossy appearance and increases holding power and corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond ANSI standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
