This Ruland clamp style shaft collar is ideal for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance is required, such as in medical devices, laboratory equipment, and food processing machinery. Its one-piece design with a 3mm bore and 16mm OD provides superior holding power and infinite adjustability, making it a versatile component for component alignment, load bearing faces, and mechanical stops. With a fine burr-free finish and tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity, this shaft collar ensures precise performance and reliability in a variety of applications, including robotics, automation, and precision machinery.
Top product features:
It does not mar the shaft
It is infinitely adjustable
It has superior holding power compared to set screw collars
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This one-piece shaft collar has a 3mm bore, 16mm OD, and 9mm width. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from acetal plastic to a fine burr-free finish for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance is required. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
