Ruland's two-piece keyed shaft collar is a precision-engineered solution for applications requiring strong, adjustable holding power. Designed for use with keyed shafting, this collar features a tightly controlled face-to-bore perpendicularity, ensuring accurate alignment and load-bearing performance. Its infinitely adjustable design allows for precise positioning and secure fastening, making it ideal for applications such as mechanical stops, load-bearing faces, and component alignment. Manufactured from 303 stainless steel with a fine burr-free finish, this collar offers consistent corrosion resistance and exceeds ANSI standards for holding power. Its compact design also enables in-place installation and servicing, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
Top product features:
Keyed shaft collar design allows for infinitely adjustable positioning on the shaft.
Two-piece design enables in-place installation or servicing without removal of adjacent components.
Fine burr-free finish and matching hardware ensure consistent corrosion resistance.
Top product applications:
Keyed Shaft Collar, 2pc Clamp, Bore 2.5000in, Stainless, W 0.875in by Ruland can be used as a load bearing face in applications such as gearboxes and gearboxes.
It can be used as a mechanical stop in applications such as conveyor belts and other machinery.
It can be used for component alignment in applications such as robotic arms and other precision machinery.
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece keyed shaft collar has a 2.5000" bore, 5/8" keyway, 3 3/4" OD, and 0.875" width. It is designed for use with keyed shafting and in applications where the collar may be used for positive drive. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.002") which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by one groove on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 303 stainless steel to a fine burr-free finish with hardware of like material for consistent corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond ANSI standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
