This Ruland shaft collar is a versatile and reliable component for various applications, including machine building, automation, and robotics. Its two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, reducing downtime and increasing productivity. The collar's precision face and tightly controlled perpendicularity ensure accurate load bearing and component alignment. Made from acetal plastic, it provides corrosion resistance and is suitable for light-duty applications. The clamp-style design eliminates shaft marking and offers superior holding power compared to set screw collars. Its compliance with RoHS and REACH standards ensures a safe and environmentally friendly solution for a wide range of industries.
Top product features:
Infinitely adjustable to accommodate different shaft sizes
Maintains tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of < 0.05mm) for precise load bearing and mechanical stop applications
Has a fine burr-free finish for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance is required
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 9mm bore, 24mm OD, and 9mm width. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by one groove on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from acetal plastic to a fine burr-free finish for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance is required. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
