Elevate your machinery with the Ruland Keyed Shaft Collar, a precision-engineered component designed for demanding applications. This one-piece double wide shaft collar boasts superior holding power, infinitely adjustable design, and a fine burr-free finish. The 10mm bore and 3mm keyway enable positive drive applications, while the tightly controlled face-to-bore perpendicularity ensures precise component alignment. Ideal for use as a load-bearing face, mechanical stop, or short rigid coupling, this collar is perfect for applications where standard length couplings won't fit. Manufactured from lead-free steel with a proprietary black oxide formulation, it meets or exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power.
Top product features:
Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment.
The addition of a keyway allows for use in positive drive applications as a shaft collar or for extra torque capacity when used as a rigid coupling.
This collar is infinitely adjustable, allowing for precise positioning on the shaft.
Top product applications:
Positive drive applications as a shaft collar
Load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment
Short rigid coupling in applications where standard length rigid couplings will not fit
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This one-piece double wide shaft collar has a 10mm bore, 3mm keyway, 24mm OD, and 20mm width. It has about 25% more holding power than standard round bore collars of equivalent bore size and can be used as a short rigid coupling in applications where standard length rigid couplings will not fit. The addition of a keyway allows for use in positive drive applications as a shaft collar or for extra torque capacity when used as a rigid coupling. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 1215 lead-free steel to a fine burr-free finish with Ruland's proprietary black oxide formulation which creates a fine glossy appearance and increases holding power and corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
