This two-piece keyed shaft collar provides superior holding power and precise fit for applications requiring positive drive or load-bearing functionality. Its infinitely adjustable design allows for easy installation and servicing in-place, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs. Suitable for use with keyed shafting, it's ideal for applications such as gearboxes, motors, and other machinery where precision and reliability are critical. The collar's fine burr-free finish and proprietary black oxide formulation enhance corrosion resistance and holding power, meeting or exceeding DIN 912 12.9 standards. Suitable for industries including aerospace, automotive, and medical device manufacturing.

Load bearing face, mechanical stop, or component alignment
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece keyed shaft collar has a 18mm bore, 6mm keyway, 36mm OD, and 13mm width. It is designed for use with keyed shafting and in applications where the collar may be used for positive drive. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 1215 lead-free steel to a fine burr-free finish with Ruland's proprietary black oxide formulation which creates a fine glossy appearance and increases holding power and corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
