This one-piece shaft collar features a 17mm bore, 36mm OD, and 13mm width, with tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity ensuring accurate alignment and load bearing capabilities. Its acetal plastic construction provides corrosion resistance in light duty applications, while the clamp style design does not mar the shaft and offers superior holding power compared to set screw collars. Ideal for use as a mechanical stop, component alignment, or load bearing face, this collar is suitable for applications in machinery, automation, and equipment assembly, where precision and reliability are crucial. It is also RoHS and REACH compliant.
Top product features:
The product does not mar the shaft.
The collar is infinitely adjustable.
It has superior holding power compared to set screw collars.
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This one-piece shaft collar has a 17mm bore, 36mm OD, and 13mm width. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from acetal plastic to a fine burr-free finish for use in light duty applications where corrosion resistance is required. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
