This Ruland balanced collar is a precision-engineered solution for applications requiring high RPM performance, load bearing, and component alignment. Its two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency. The collar's balanced design and tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity ensure superior holding power and minimal shaft marking. Ideal for use in machinery, equipment, and automation, this collar is manufactured from high-strength 2025 aluminum and meets or exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. Its compact size and fine burr-free finish make it suitable for a wide range of applications, from mechanical stops to component alignment.
Top product features:
Infinitely adjustable to accommodate various shaft sizes
Maintains tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity with a TIR of < 0.05mm
Has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications
Top product applications:
Positioning components on a shaft without damaging the shaft or surrounding components
As a mechanical stop to prevent over-travel or over-rotation of a shaft
As a load bearing face in high RPM applications requiring precise component alignment
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 15mm bore, 34mm OD, and 13mm width. It has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from high strength 2025 aluminum to a fine burr-free finish for increased screw seating torque. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
