This Ruland mountable collar is a versatile and precision-engineered component ideal for applications where shafts must be perpendicular to each other. Its one-piece design with machined flats and tapped holes allows for easy stacking and mounting of components, such as sensors, directly to the collar. The collar's high-strength 2025 black anodized aluminum construction and fine burr-free finish provide light corrosion resistance and maximum holding power. Suitable for use as a load-bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment, this collar is perfect for industries requiring precise and reliable shaft management, including robotics, automation, and medical equipment manufacturing.
Top product features:
The collar does not mar the shaft.
The collar is infinitely adjustable.
The collar has superior holding power when compared to set screw collars.
Top product applications:
Shaft alignment and component positioning
Load bearing face or mechanical stop in precision machinery
Mounting sensors directly to the collar or mounting the collar to metal plates
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This one-piece international series mountable shaft collar has a 0.5000" bore, 30mm OD, and 11mm width. It has machined flats and tapped holes on the top and bottom of the collar allowing users to stack collars on top of each other when shafting must be perpendicular to each other. Users can also mount components such as sensors directly to the collar or mount the collar to metal plates. International series collars have metric outer diameter and width dimensions. They are supplied with a metric screw allowing users to have an inch bore collar that can be installed with metric tools. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from high strength 2025 black anodized aluminum to a fine burr-free finish for light corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
