The Ruland Balanced Collar is a precision-engineered shaft collar designed for high-performance applications. Its balanced design and tightly controlled face-to-bore perpendicularity ensure superior holding power and minimize wear on the shaft. Ideal for use as a load-bearing face, mechanical stop, or component alignment, this collar features a fine burr-free finish for increased screw seating torque. Manufactured from high-strength 2025 aluminum, it meets or exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. Suitable for high-RPM applications, this collar is perfect for use in robotics, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing, as well as in any industry requiring precision and reliability.
Top product features:
This two-piece shaft collar has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications.
It has tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity with a TIR of < 0.05mm, critical for load bearing, mechanical stop, or component alignment applications.
The collar is infinitely adjustable.
Top product applications:
Shaft alignment in high-speed machinery
Load bearing face in precision equipment
Mechanical stop in automated manufacturing systems
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 25mm bore, 45mm OD, and 15mm width. It has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from high strength 2025 aluminum to a fine burr-free finish for increased screw seating torque. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
