This two-piece keyed shaft collar from Ruland is designed for use with keyed shafting and applications requiring positive drive. Its unique clamp style design does not mar the shaft, offering superior holding power and infinite adjustability compared to set screw collars. With a tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity and a fine burr-free finish, this collar is ideal for load-bearing faces, mechanical stops, and component alignment. Manufactured from 303 stainless steel, it provides consistent corrosion resistance and meets or exceeds ANSI standards for maximum holding power, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
Top product features:
The collar does not mar the shaft.
The collar is infinitely adjustable.
The collar has superior holding power compared to set screw collars.
Top product applications:
Keyed shaft collars are used in applications where positive drive and precise fit are required.
These collars are ideal for use in mechanical stops, load bearing faces, and component alignment.
Shaft collars are also used in applications where easy installation and servicing are necessary, such as in-place installation or servicing without removing adjacent components.
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece keyed shaft collar has a 1.1250" bore, 1/4" keyway, 1 7/8" OD, and 0.500" width. It is designed for use with keyed shafting and in applications where the collar may be used for positive drive. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.002") which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by one groove on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from 303 stainless steel to a fine burr-free finish with hardware of like material for consistent corrosion resistance. Hardware tests beyond ANSI standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
