This Ruland slit coupling is a precision-engineered component ideal for high-speed applications, such as in robotics, medical devices, and industrial automation. Its zero-backlash design and balanced construction reduce vibration and ensure smooth operation up to 12,000 RPM. With its low inertia and high torsional stiffness, it provides increased torque and misalignment capabilities, making it suitable for applications with varying loads and misalignment. The set screw style and aluminum construction offer a durable and low-maintenance solution, while the compact size and lightweight design make it easy to integrate into tight spaces.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness
Accommodates all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads to protect small sensitive bearings
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 12,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is set screw style and has 0.125" x 0.125" bores, 0.512" OD, and 0.787" length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
