The Ruland Balanced Collar is a precision-engineered solution for high-performance applications. Its unique two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency. With a tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity and a balanced design for better performance at high RPMs, this collar is ideal for use as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. Made from high-strength 2025 aluminum, it offers superior holding power and is compatible with a wide range of industries, including aerospace, medical, and industrial automation. Its durable design and precise manufacturing ensure reliable performance in demanding applications.
Top product features:
Mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars.
Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment.
The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components.
Top product applications:
Shaft alignment and bearing mounting in high RPM applications
Load bearing face or mechanical stop in precision machinery
Component alignment in high precision manufacturing processes
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 36mm bore, 57mm OD, and 15mm width. It has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from high strength 2025 aluminum to a fine burr-free finish for increased screw seating torque. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
