This Ruland supplied slit coupling is ideal for applications where precision and reliability are crucial. Its zero-backlash design and balanced construction reduce vibration at high speeds up to 5,000 RPM, making it suitable for use in power transmission systems, machine tools, and other high-speed machinery. The coupling's low inertia and high torsional stiffness enable smooth operation and minimize wear on bearings, protecting sensitive components. Its compact size and clamp style design allow for easy installation in confined spaces, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, medical, and industrial automation.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for smooth and precise operation
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia and high torsional stiffness
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 5,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is clamp style and has 6mm x 5mm bores, 25.0mm OD, and 25.80mm length. This short style slit coupling can fit in confined spaces where the long style may not fit. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
