This precision shaft collar offers superior holding power and performance in high RPM applications, making it ideal for use in machinery, equipment, and automation systems. Its balanced design and tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity ensure accurate alignment and load-bearing capabilities. The two-piece design allows for in-place installation and servicing, reducing downtime and increasing productivity. Manufactured from high-strength 2025 aluminum, this collar provides a fine burr-free finish and increased screw seating torque. Suitable for use in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical device manufacturing, this shaft collar is a reliable and precise solution for demanding applications.
Top product features:
The collar does not mar the shaft.
The collar is infinitely adjustable.
The collar has superior holding power compared to set screw collars.
Top product applications:
High RPM applications for better performance
Load bearing face, mechanical stop, or component alignment
Precision assembly and adjustment of mechanical components
Ruland clamp style shaft collars do not mar the shaft, are infinitely adjustable, and have superior holding power when compared to set screw collars. This two-piece shaft collar has a 22mm bore, 42mm OD, and 15mm width. It has a balanced design for better performance in high RPM applications. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity is maintained (TIR of < 0.05mm) which is critical when the collar is used as a load bearing face, mechanical stop, or for component alignment. The work surface is identified by two grooves on the face allowing the user to easily identify which side is precision faced. The two-piece design allows this collar to be installed or serviced in-place without the need to remove adjacent components. Halves are mated throughout the manufacturing process for precise fit and increased holding power. This collar is stamped with the Ruland name and bore size for ease of identification. It is manufactured from high strength 2025 aluminum to a fine burr-free finish for increased screw seating torque. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum holding power. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
