Lightweight design for reduced inertia
Zero-backlash capability for smooth operation
Balanced design to accommodate speeds of up to 10000 RPM
Ruland supplied Controlflex couplings are a lightweight, low inertia, and zero-backlash coupling designed for use in encoders, tachometers, resolvers, and light duty power transmission applications. This clamp style single insert type hub requires the user to mate it with one other hub and one acetal insert. The multiple piece construction allows for a highly customizable coupling that easily combines clamp hubs with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bores. This hub has a 10mm bore, 56.0mm OD, and 15.0mm length. The use of one insert allows for higher misalignment capabilities than double insert styles. It is compact and can fit in smaller envelopes than equivalent single beam or double insert Controlflex styles. It has a balanced design and can accommodate speeds of up to 10000 RPM. This Controlflex hub is RoHS and REACH compliant and manufactured by Schmidt Kupplung in Germany.
