This zero-backlash Slit Coupling from Ruland is designed for high-speed applications up to 15,000 RPM, featuring a balanced design for reduced vibration and a long, set-screw style for increased torque and misalignment capabilities. Made from a single piece of aluminum, it offers low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness. Suitable for applications where precision and reliability are critical, such as in robotics, medical devices, and precision machinery, this coupling can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads, protecting sensitive bearings and extending equipment lifespan. It's ideal for applications requiring high precision and reliability.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 15,000 RPM
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 15,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is set screw style and has 10mm x 8mm bores, 20.0mm OD, and 26.00mm length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
