The Ruland Slit Coupling is a high-performance, zero-backlash coupling designed for demanding applications. Its balanced design and low inertia provide reduced vibration at high speeds up to 17,000 RPM, making it ideal for use in precision machinery, medical devices, and other sensitive equipment. The coupling's set screw style and slit cuts offer high torsional stiffness, increased torque, and misalignment capabilities, protecting small bearings and extending equipment lifespan. Suitable for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, medical, and industrial automation, this coupling ensures smooth operation and reliability in even the most demanding environments.
Top product features:
Zero-backlash design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 17,000 RPM.
Balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds.
Two sets of slit cuts for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness.
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 17,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is set screw style and has 4mm x 4mm bores, 16.0mm OD, and 23.50mm length. This long slit coupling has increased torque and misalignment capabilities when compared to short styles. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
