Omnitron System's iConverter is an ideal media converter for the networking requirements of industries such as telecom, finance, education or hospitality that require high performance and reliability. The unit comes equipped with a T1/E1 port providing legacy data transport over fibre, 1 x expansion slot for adding future interfaces such as SFP, and one additional SFP slot that can accommodate an existing small form pluggable (SFP) transceiver. It's ideal for extending reach of existing LANs or WANs without replacing entire infrastructure while lowering total cost of ownership by reducing truck rolls for installation and maintenance.
