To prevent damages caused by sliding motion between rollers and raceway these bearings must be subjected to a load more than minimum axial load (fa min static load rating / 1000). These bearings are self-aligning the maximum allowable misalignment is about 2°. Oil lubrication is recommended for the conventional e-type.
