These bearings are designed to carry heavy axial loads and can support radial loads if the radial loads are less than 50 of axial loads. To prevent damages caused by sliding motion between rollers and raceway these bearings must be subjected to a load more than minimum axial load (fa min static load rating / 1000). These bearings are self-aligning the maximum allowable misalignment is about 2°. Oil lubrication is recommended for the conventional e-type.
