Streamline your cell sorting and straining processes with MTC Bio's Cap for 12 x 75mm FlowTubes. Designed for use with 1275mm culture tubes and FACs tubes, these cell strainers are ideal for detaching, isolating, and straining cells from clusters and tissues. With a built-in 70m porous mesh, they prevent clogging in FACs instrumentation and ensure consistent compatibility with automated instruments. Perfect for pre-sorting and preparing samples for fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), these strainers are also available in various pore sizes to suit your specific needs, making them an essential tool for researchers and scientists working with cell cultures.
Top product features:
Pore sizes 20m, 35m, 70m, 100m are available to accommodate various cell sorting and straining applications.
The cell strainers are designed with a built-in compatibility with 12 x 75mm culture tubes and FACS tubes for pre-sorting and preparing samples.
A 70m porous mesh is used to obtain a single-cell suspension and to prevent clogging in FACS instrumentation.
Top product applications:
Detaching isolating and straining cells from clusters and tissues
Pre-sorting and preparing samples for fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS)
Collecting dissociated sample for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments
These cell strainers are ideal for detaching isolating and straining cells from clusters and tissues. Their built-in compatibility with 1275mm culture tubes and facs™ tubes makes them especially useful for pre-sorting and preparing samples for fluorescence-activated cell sorting (facs)™. Typically a 70m porous mesh is used to obtain a single-cell suspension and to prevent clogging in facs™ instrumentation. However a multitude of facs™ users have cited applications requiring finer pore sizes for a higher level of anti-clog protection while others require a larger pore size for pre-sorting and/or for more efficient rapid flow. The diameter and wall thickness of the tube's neck is held to very tight tolerances to ensure consistent compatibility with the automated instrument. They are available with the standard two-position culture cap no cap at all or with a cap that contains a 70m nylon mesh screen designed to assist in cell sorting/straining applications. These tubes are primarily used to collect dissociated sample for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments.
