214 Quad Ring (X-Ring) 1ID x 1-1/4OD 70 Duro Round Black 0214QN7
This 214 Quad Ring (X-Ring) is a high-quality, 70 durometer nitrile rubber seal designed for use in a variety of applications requiring resistance to petroleum-based fuels and lubricants. Its relatively low price and excellent sealing properties make it a popular choice for many industries. The ring's quad design provides a secure seal in applications where high pressure and vibration are present, such as in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Its temperature range of -40°C to 100°C makes it suitable for use in both low-temperature and high-temperature applications, including automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.
Top product features:
- Nitrile rubber is resistant to petroleum-based fuels and lubricants.
- The product has a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C.
- The product is sulfur-cured, offering better low-temperature properties but more prone to hardening with high temperatures.
Top product applications:
- Sealing in hydraulic systems
- Sealing in pneumatic systems
- Sealing in fuel systems

Nitrile rubber also known as nbr or buna n is one of the most commonly used sealing elastomers due to its resistance to petroleum-based fuels and lubricants and its relatively low price. Nitrile elastomers are copolymers of acrylonitrile and butadiene. There are a number of common variations of nitrile compounds.Ul style"margin-top0px;padding-top 5px; padding-bottom 5px;" acrylonitrile content the acrylonitrile (acn) content of the polymer chains can be varied from 18 to 50. Lower acn content gives better low-temperature properties but poorer fuels and polar lubricants. Higher acn content gives poorer low-temperature properties but improved fuels and polar lubricants resistance. Standard nbrs typically have 34 acn content. Cure system sulfur-cured standard nitriles are usually sulfur-cured. Sulfur-cured compounds offer better low-temperature properties but are more prone to hardening with high temperatures. Peroxide-cured nitriles have better heat resistance and lower compression sets but are more expensive and more difficult to process.
