111 O-Ring Epdm 7/16ID x 5/8OD 70 Duro Round Black

This 111 O-Ring is made from high-quality Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber, offering excellent resistance to ozone, sunlight, and weathering. Its good flexibility at low temperatures and chemical resistance make it suitable for hose systems in the construction industry. The peroxide-cured EPDM provides better heat resistance and a lower compression set, ensuring long-time usage in demanding applications. With a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, this O-Ring is ideal for use in various industries, including construction, automotive, and industrial equipment. Its durability and resistance make it a reliable choice for critical applications.

Top product features:

  • Excellent resistance to ozone, sunlight, and weathering
  • Very good flexibility at low temperatures
  • Good electrical insulation property

Top product applications:

  • Hose systems in the construction industry
  • Electrical insulation applications
  • Low-temperature applications requiring flexibility and chemical resistance
Ethylene propylene rubber (epdm) is a copolymer of ethylene and propylene. Furthermore it is a terpolymer of ethylene and propylene with a small amount of a third monomer (usually a diolefin) to permit vulcanization with sulfur. Generally epdm possesses an excellent resistance to ozone sunlight and weathering and has very good flexibility at low temperature good chemical resistance (many dilute acids and alkalis as well as polar solvents) and good electrical insulation property.Ul style"margin-top0px;padding-top 5px; padding-bottom 5px;" cure system peroxide-cured standard epdms are usually sulfur-cured. Sulfur-cured compounds offer better flexible properties but are more prone to hardening and have an inferior compression set with high temperature peroxide-cured epdms have better heat resistance and a lower compression set. It complies with long-time usage especially for hose systems in the construction industry but is more expensive and more difficult for production than the sulfur-cured epdms temperature rangeul style"margin-top0px;padding-top 5px; padding-bottom 5px;" standard low temp -55°c (-67°f) standard high temp 125°c (257°f)
