Kills fungal growth and prevents future growth in fuel storage tanks. There are several forms of fungi that survive and multiply in hydrocarbon fuels growing into long strings and eventually forming large mats or globules. These fungi may grow throughout the fuel or at the interface level between the fuel and bottom layer of water in the tank. During filling as fuel is agitated this growth is distributed throughout the fuel system clinging to walls and supporting structures in the tank.
