Megger 6311-080 50' shielded lead set for bm15 & mj15 the megger 6311-080 shielded lead set comes with one black (negative) test lead that is screened and one red (positive) test lead that is not screened and is for use with the megger bm15 and mj15 5-kilovolt (kv) analog insulation testers in applications where there is a risk of interference from nearby conductors and where leakage from the test lead would interfere with measurements. The test leads measures 50' (15 m) and provide measurements at a distance. The uninsulated compact test clips measure 2.2 x 1 inches (58 x 25 mm w x d where w is width the horizontal distance from left to right; d is depth the horizontal distance from front to back) and have a 0.7 (18 mm) jaw opening for a hands-free connection to a conductor where there is limited access. Polyvinyl chloride (pvc) insulation on the test leads protects hands from shock and heat. The test leads lock into the input jacks on the meter to help ensure a secure connection and reduce risk of shock. The insulated test leads are rated for a maximum input of 5 kv of direct current (dc) voltage.
