The groz soft face sledge hammer with our unique indestructible handle technology is designed for heavy-duty tasks. The handle of our hammers is constructed with spring steel bars for added strength that are locked into the head with a steel locking plate ensuring that the head remains securely attached and will never become loose or dislodged. The ergonomic rubber grip handle absorbs vibration and reduces fatigue making it easy to use the hammer for extended hours comfortably. The rugged steel head is forged from special steel induction hardened and then tempered to reduce hardness to 30-35 hrc. These soft-face hammers prevent damage to the struck surface and are especially useful in automotive overground mining railroad metalworking and agricultural applications.
