Insul-Tube is a versatile insulation solution designed for the HVAC and refrigeration industry. It prevents heat gain and condensation on refrigerant lines, cold water plumbing, and chilled water systems, while also retarding heat flow for hot water plumbing and dual temperature piping. Its non-porous and non-fibrous design resists mold growth, and an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent provides additional protection against mold, fungal, and bacterial growth. Suitable for moderate UV exposure, it's ideal for use in various applications, including solar systems, and can be used with or without additional protective coating for optimal performance.

Insul-tube is used to deter heat gain and prevent condensation or frost formation on refrigerant lines cold water plumbing and chilled water systems. It also retards heat flow for hot water plumbing liquid heating dual temperature piping and many solar systems. Designed for the hvac and refrigeration industry. Insul-tube is non-porous non-fibrous and resists mold growth. An epa registered antimicrobial agent is incorporated into the product providing additional protection against mold fungal and bacterial growth. Insul-tube pipe insulation is made from a uv resistant elastomeric blend. For moderate uv exposure no additional protective coating is needed. However for severe uv exposure (rooftop applications) or where optimum performance is required 374 protective coating or approved jacketing or cladding should be used.
