Top product features:
Separable design allows for easy handling and maintenance
Crowned outer ring relieves edge load created by mounting error
Double sealed followers come with pre-packed grease for added lubrication
Iko separable roller follower consists of inner ring needle roller cage side plates and thick-walled outer ring to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. These parts can be easily separated providing an easy handling. Roller followers are available with crowned or cylindrical outer rings. The crowned outer ring relieves edge load created by mounting error and the cylindrical is suitable for applications with large loads or low track surface hardness due to a large contact area with mating track surface. Double sealed followers (suffix zzuu & zzuur) come with pre-packed grease. Since no grease is provided for double shielded (suffix zz & zzr) adequate lubrication must be added. Sufficient lubrication is needed between roller followers and steel track on which cam followers run to prevent seizure and to reduce friction.
