The IKO Separable Roller Follower is a versatile and reliable component designed for heavy-duty applications. Its unique separable design allows for easy handling and maintenance, while the thick-walled outer ring withstands shock loads and heavy rolling. Suitable for applications with large loads or low track surface hardness, this follower features a crowned or cylindrical outer ring option. With proper lubrication, it provides smooth operation and reduces friction, making it ideal for use in machinery, equipment, and industrial settings where precision and durability are essential. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to integrate into various systems.
Top product features:
Separable design allows for easy handling and assembly.
Crowned outer ring relieves edge load created by mounting error.
Cylindrical outer ring provides a large contact area with mating track surface for applications with large loads or low track surface hardness.
Iko separable roller follower consists of needle roller cage and thick-walled outer ring to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. These parts can be easily separated providing an easy handling. Roller followers are available with crowned or cylindrical outer rings. The crowned outer ring relieves edge load created by mounting error and the cylindrical is suitable for applications with large loads or low track surface hardness due to a large contact area with mating track surface. Adequate lubrication is requested as pre-packed grease is not provided. Sufficient lubrication is needed between cam followers and steel track on which cam followers run to prevent seizure and to reduce friction. Since no inner ring is provided 0.2mra or less shaft surface finish and hrc 58 to 64 shaft hardness are recommended.
