It has a vertical switch lubricated ball bearings and a shaft seal that will extend the life of the pump. The backup dc pump will turn on if there is a power outage primary pump failure or if extra pumping capacity is needed in an active sump. The dc backup pump can pump up to 1800 gallons per hour and 15 feet of lift and is constructed of durable thermoplastic.
