Made from high strength synthetic fibers lockjaw is stronger and vastly lighter than steel winch lines and shackles of the same size. The problem metal winch lines are heavy inflexible and inconvenient making them a safety hazard and taking up much needed time and effort to maintain. The solution lockjaw®'s patented design allows it to easily wrap around all kinds of anchor points. Lockjaw® synthetic winch lines and shackles are uv and abrasion resistant and will not rust. The exclusive lock securely holds the shackle closed when in use. Its lock is attached to the shackle preventing lost pins that are common with steel shackles. By design the rope will only fall to the ground and not dangerously whip during failure. It also eliminates the chance of a metal hook launching as a projectile in the case of failure.
