Operating the fd 87hds is simple load a hard drive close the safety shield and slide the chamber forward. The hardened steel blades reduce 3-1/2" hdds into 1-5/8" wide fragments and 2-1/2" hdds/ssds into 0.19" fragments ensuring complete destruction. Shredded materials drop into a molded plastic waste bin for easy disposal. With an led control panel auto-reverse jam protection and individual resettable counters the fd 87hds is built for efficiency and reliability. Housed in a durable all-metal cabinet with a low-noise metal-geared motor it delivers uncompromising security and reliability.
