It supports cable certification, wire mapping, endpoint testing, cable length display, distance to fault, crosstalk detection, impedance detection, pair tracing, and PoE/PoE+ detection. The unit is designed for testing shielded and unshielded LAN cabling, including CAT3, CAT4, CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and CAT8, with RJ45 connectivity and support for TIA Category 3, 4, 5, 5e, 6, 6A, and 8 per ANSI/TIA-568.2-D.
