The edi-usa bullet-resistant "press" ballistic vest is designed for journalists or news reporters that need to report in dangerous areas or conflict zones. This vest is trusted by many journalists around the world and is an important item to help keep reporters safe during their work. Designed with comprehensive protection this vest is tested to ballistic level iii-a / hg2 ballistic resistance (ambient) and is produced for extended wear and includes protection zones on the front back sides neck shoulders upper arms (optional) and groin. The neck upper arms (optional) and groin protectors are removable in case the user does not need them for specific operations. Includes removable velcro label with press decal on front & back. Custom colors available. Tested to resist up to .44mag ammunition and lower. Includes adjustable waist and shoulder straps. 5-year shelf life. This vest includes front and back pockets for insertion of level iii or level iv hard armor plates (booth shooters cut or rectangle cut) for extra protection.
