Exair's ATEX NEMA 4X Cabinet Cooler System is engineered for use in classified areas, providing a low-cost and reliable solution to cool purged electric control panels. This system is designed to meet stringent ATEX requirements and is available in cooling capacities from 1000 to 5600 BTU/hr. With a thermostat control system, the cooler activates only when internal temperatures approach critical levels, saving air and energy. The system is CE compliant and includes a water-dirt filter separator and cold air distribution kit. Ideal for use in applications such as programmable controllers, line control cabinets, and motor control centers.

These atex cabinet cooler systems have been tested by ul and meet the stringent atex requirements for these areas. Cabinet cooler systems are a low cost and reliable way to cool purged electric control panels founds in the environments. The areas approved are zones 2 and 22. Standard thermostat control systems include an adjustable thermostat factory set at 95°f (35°c). Atex cabinet coolers incorporate a low pressure relief valve which closes and seals when the cooler is not operating to maintain the integrity of a nema 4x enclosure (dust-tight oil-tight splash resistant indoor/outdoor service corrosion resistant). Each of these systems include a water-dirt filter separator to prevent water condensate and dirt from entering your enclosure and a cold air distribution kit used to direct the air for circulation or on to hot spots.
