It is an explosion proof detector with hexagonal grip bushing with 1/2" conduit threads for attachment to threaded hub covers of series jl fixture fitting manufactured by killark electric co. Or equivalent. Must be hand tightened only. For indoor use only. The detectors are self-restoring hermetically sealed shock and corrosion resistant and are tamperproof.
