The DIXON - N4M6-B is a brass quick connect hose coupling compatible for connection to hoses or pipes using a male 1/2" NPT thread. It has a male 1/2" NPT thread and is compatible with Bowes standard couplers and fittings. The coupling uses a sleeve locking mechanism to provide a seal using a sleeve locking mechanism and a nitrile seal for fluid-tight connections (see stated pressure and temperature ratings). It is rated for operation from -40°F to 250°F. The fitting does not include an internal valve and is finished with a zinc plating and a yellow color coating.
