The DIXON - N4F4 is a quick connect hose coupling for tool-free hose/equipment connection and disconnection. It operates with a sleeve locking mechanism and features a plug-type coupling compatible with Bowes style fittings. This coupling features nitrile seals intended to help resist leakage under specified operating conditions and is compatible with air, water, or fluid lines, when used within the specified pressure and temperature ranges. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 500 psi at 70°F. The fitting is constructed of steel with a zinc-plated finish and includes nitrile seals for seals for fluid-tight connection. It accommodates hoses with a 1/2 in inner diameter and has a 1/2 in NPT female threaded connection.
