It is useful in many applications demanding removal of various tough contaminants from the automotive industry to general maintenance cleaning to heat exchangers as well as others. Chem-crest 2003 is mildly inhibited to help prevent flash rusting and is free-rinsing. Substrate compatibility chem-crest 2003 is safe on various metals such as copper and steels glass plastics hard rubber articles and ceramics when used as directed. It can be used with aluminum for short exposure periods to remove tough contaminants. Operating conditions chem-crest 2003 is typically used at 10 by volume in ultrasonic applications. Normal operating temperatures 120 - 180°f dependent on the material makeup of the substrate and the contaminants being removed. Recommended rinsing water temperature 110 - 150°f. Typical contaminants removed chem-crest 2003 is effective on various contaminants such as oils greases particulate matter carbon residues dried on fuel and crude fuel residues as well as general contaminants.
