Chem-crest 275 is a multipurpose heavy-duty phosphate and silicate-free caustic liquid detergent. It is useful in many applications demanding removal of various contaminants such as oils greases and particulates. This detergent finds many uses throughout industrial mechanical and maintenance cleaning operations. Substrate compatibility chem-crest 275 is safe on ferrous metals nickel chromium alloys titanium plastics glass ceramics and silicon wafers when used as directed. It is not to be used on aluminum magnesium or zinc substrates. Operating conditions typical dilution is 3-5 by volume for light soils and 5-10 by volume for heavy soils. A 20-25 solution can be used for de-rusting and de-scaling of ferrous metals. Recommended rinsing water temperature 120 - 150°f.
