CELLTREAT Permeable Cell Culture Inserts are designed to mimic in vivo conditions, allowing for co-culture and drug transport studies. The inserts are suspended above the well bottom, enabling the growth of one cell line inside the insert and another below. Ideal for drug transfer assays, transport studies, migration assays, and cell-cell interaction studies. The 0.4μm pore size is suitable for co-culture and drug transport studies, while 3.0μm and 8.0μm pore sizes are ideal for angiogenesis and chemotaxis experiments. Transfer cultures to fresh media by moving the insert to a new plate, reducing the need for plate changes.
