Tape is easily identified by printed legend on apwa color-coded background. Made of tough b-721 metal detectable polyester material with subsurface graphics to seal the legend from acids alkalis and other soil substances. Easy manual or automatic installation 4"to 6"below the surface is recommended for maximum detectability. Tensile strength of 25 lb/in.
