The lithium battery mark is required on some packages carrying lithium ion or lithium metal batteries. These marks have space to manually designate the un number(s) of the lithium battery or batteries you are shipping and space to add a telephone number for additional information. Please note a un number(s) and telephone information is required by the regulations prior to use in transport. The marking size is 120mm x 110mm and the label size is 126mm x 121mm. These lithium battery marks are constructed of semi-gloss paper and sold in rolls of 500. These labels became effective for use january 1 2017 and are required for use as of january 1 2019.
