80/20® Pivot Point Joint Steel Black H-5

The h-5 is a metal single joint used to assemble the hj-6 flexpipe joint set. This connector can also be grouped with another h-5 to connect a pipe and a surface. The main difference between using this technique and using the hj-15 connector is that the surface will be aligned with the pipe center and not the tube's edge when using the hj-15. The h-5 was designed with two internal striations for greater grip on the pipe's outer coating. Be sure to reinforce the h-5 if you are using them to support a surface. This can be done easily with two f-a85/8 screws. The h-5 comes in a nickel-plated version called h-5np. Be sure to select this version if you need to build antistatic structures.
