The 3M Cloth Belt 707E is a high-performance abrasive belt designed for moderate to heavy stock removal and surface preparation on various metals, including stainless steel, cobalt chrome, titanium, and carbon steel. Its ceramic/aluminum oxide blend provides a harder, longer-lasting abrasive that cuts fast and handles intense heat and stress applications. The belt's flexible backing easily follows contours and can wrap around parts, making it ideal for use with soft contact wheels or slack belts. It can be used wet or dry and is perfect for dimensioning, deburring, blending, and scratch refinement.

3m™ cloth belt 707e 2" x 90" 80 grit ceramic 3m™ cloth narrow belt 707e is constructed with a blend of 3m™ ceramic abrasive grain and premium aluminum oxide for more durability and cutting efficiency over non-ceramic abrasives. We construct it with a flexible je-weight rayon cloth backing that easily follows contours and can wrap around parts. Flexibility also makes this belt a good choice when using a soft contact wheel or slack of belt. It can be used wet or dry. Choose this belt for use on stainless steel cobalt chrome titanium and carbon steel for dimensioning parts deburring blending and scratch refinement on castings and forgings. To protect heat sensitive alloys such as stainless steel nickel alloys and cobalt alloys from heat-related stress cracks and discoloration a grinding aid incorporated on the belt reduces running temperatures. Additionally the abrasive is firmly bonded to the backing with resin to maintain durability under high heat and pressure. 3m™ ceramic abrasive grain is a ceramic mineral designed using our proprietary process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. For increased performance 3m™ cloth narrow belt 707e products feature aluminum oxide blended with ceramic grain for a harder longer-lasting abrasive.
