It offers zero permeability installs without special tools and is highly puncture and tear resistant - ideal for any indoor or outdoor task. This laminate tape can withstand temperatures as cold as -40 °f/-40 °c and as hot as 248 °f/120 °c. It's suitable for use on materials like fiberglass polystyrene and conformable aerogel. It protects insulation against mold uv weather oil and grease chemicals impact and mechanical abuse corrosion under insulation (cui). This tape qualifies for compliance credit for leed® v4 and is ul723 classified. 3m™ ventureclad™ insulation jacketing system 1577cw-wm provides a reliable barrier and protection during jacketing and cladding operations. Zero permeability cladding and jacketing the white aluminum exterior provides an attractive aesthetic for cladding that is visible when finished while also providing excellent chemical resistance.
