These stick welding gloves have an elkskin leather palm. Elkskin molds to the hand and remains soft when exposed to heat longer than cowhide. Stick welding gloves are thick, heavy-duty gloves that have welted seams to protect against burns caused by sparks and high heat. Stick welding can be used to weld most common alloys and metals and is best suited for welding thick workpieces and is commonly used to weld stainless steel and steel structures in metal fabrication, construction, and repair tasks.
