It can help to prepare surfaces for painting, especially where a 3 mil or greater paint thickness is being applied without adding a final dual-action sanding step. The ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive blend is designed to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain while cutting fast and withstanding intense heat and stress applications.
